So after about a month I do not have much good news to share. As time went on the leaves on my plant would turn yellow and wilt into a sad shriveled nothing๐. I did repot this plant which I am not so sure was the best idea at the moment.
As you can see ๐ we can literally count how many leaves are left together..1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8....... about 14 leaves we have here ๐ compared to what we started with what a difference. Forgive me for the terrible lighting in these photos I took these pictures before the sun came up even so I could have adjusted the lighting for you ๐ a shame I know. Despite all of the issues it never stopped putting out new growth but as soon as the new leaf appeared it would turn yellow! It was originally placed underneath a grow light with a cool mist humidifier that ran for at least 6 hours during the day and I would water it once a week.
So I moved it's location to my kitchen bar where it received less light and it lost about 8 more leaves ๐ฆ. Just so you know I have spent hours researching this plant and literally watching every YouTube video that I could find. Some good news , remember I didn't say all the news was bad well mostly bad news but the good news is that the few leaves that were unfurling have opened up and have not turned yellow YET and are not crisping At The Moment.
It has been here for about a week and the leaves seem to be happy all 8 of them ๐!
I will continue to post updates on the progress ( if any ) of my darling, God bless!

I used this idea for my kitchen and bathroom and what a difference it has made. Keeping the house especially little areas like this clean is very important with so many people living together things start to build up over time. Check out some organizational hacks on Pinterest they are well worth the time and effort.

Being A mother
Life comes with many unexpected twists and turns some good some bad. My children have been a journey for me and continue to introduce me to many new chapters in life. Being a mother takes strength don't let anyone tell you any different. If you are trying and putting forth the effort for their well being your strength is at work.
They have no idea of what's to come and it is your job to guide them, whether the storms with them, be their hero, correct them in their wrong doing, and love them above all else unconditionally.
You should be proud that God would bestow such a blessing on your life. To be given such a gift and we tend to take that for granted . From the moment they develop in the womb their outcome from then on out depends on you, your choices, and what you instill in them.
most joy there is you'll know. Your legacy will live on through them
What will you leave behind for them when you cease to exist? How will they remember you? Are you making the most of the time you have with them?
There is no such thing as a perfect parent in fact there is such beauty in your imperfections because with them comes growth.
Cherish every moment, appreciate every obstacle, answer every question, and always be honest. When they are young they don't ask for much but your love and un interrupted attention. Be your child's biggest influence as they venture out into the world that title can easily be given to someone else. We are in a fight for our children there will be moments where you may seem to be the worst person in their eyes. Stay strong for them, prayer has gotten me this far and even though our life isn't perfect and we don't have all that we want God continues to provide all that we need.
Be encouraged .
Proverbs 22:6 KJV
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Dumb Cane
Buying plants can become pricey over time especially when there are so many to choose from. There are many ways you can grow your collection on a budget. One way is by looking in the clearance section of your local home improvement, nursey, or grocery store. Seeing that not all of these locations actually take the time to care for the plants when they begin to die back they are marked down or you can request them at a lower price. For example......
This is my Dieffenbachia also know as a Dumb Cane that I purchased at Target for $8 even though I think I could have gotten it a bit cheaper but they would not budge any more on the price๐ . I think it was worth it though because after all of the love and care I put into it the outcome so far has been amazing.
After trimming back all of the damaged and dying leaves I wast left with stems and only one leaf. I have had this palnt for about 4 moths and it has been growing non stop. After about a month or 2 I changed it into a bigger pot and I think i can say that it is happy.
So at the end of it all it was definitely worth the price. Search for rescue plants they need love too and will appreciate you for it and as always stop back by to find out how my darling is doing. Be blessed!Friday, June 7, 2019
Loving your plant almost to death! XXXXX
At my job there is a Peace Lilly that has been with the company for about 10 years. She has been a faithful employee in her job of bringing beauty to the front entrance once you walk in. She was hired by our cleaning lady who valued her very much so much in fact that she has been watering her to death! Slowly but surely๐ถ. Being overworked to the point that overtime she has lost many leaves and her soil was full of mold at the top. That didn't keep her from trying as you can see she still produces occasional flowers.
The company that we work for seemed to be giving up on her and she felt down she looked down too! I wouldn't let her give up so I decided to give her some tools that would help her perform better. We got rid of her old office with all the of the jumk in it, filled her new office with fresh materials to make her feel good about her duties....AND NOW!
What do you think? I think she can feel confident about her position now๐
I even hired a few team mates to make her job easier.
They are working great together already! I will let you know how the job has been going for them! Hope you enjoyed!

My New Green Maranta ( Rescue Plant )
Hi there,
This is my official first blog post so excited ( and nervous ) either way I hope you enjoy!
So let's get to it, I have recently grown to love plants and find myself out buying them almost every weekend who can relate? ๐
I don't think we have a problem and I speak for all of us because it helps you feel less crazy ya know? Let me introduce you to a new member of my ...still growing....plant family. My Green Maranta also known as the Prayer Plant.
I picked up this darling from Lowe's in the clearance section for only $7๐. As you can see it's quite damaged but all the best things are lol. This has been a new found interest of mine looking for plants that I can revive. Not only is it a great way to grow your collection it's also a little easier on the pocket's and for all of you plant beginners there's learning and growing in this for you! Speaking from a personal stand point I have learned in caring for many of my plants through failing them I mean let's be honest you will have complications but when you find that balance the reward of a happy plant makes it all worth it.
In the photo below is just some of the damaged leaves that I pulled from the plant there were others with minor damage but I didn't want to shock the plant by removing to many leaves.
Through my time inspecting the plant I found that it was root bound. Very healthy roots though no wonder it wasn't happy๐
Look at all those roots! My goodness!
So I re-potted the plant and will be hoping for progress. Any questions, comments, or just some love for this post would be greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoyed and will be back in the future for updates!
